The Fashionista Facial

 The Fashionista Facial combines advanced paramedical and cosmetic skincare technology with the cosmetic boost of a facial for immediate exfoliation, hydration and skin brightening benefits. 

Designed to be the ultimate skin prep for our clients, the Fashionista Facial provides camera-ready skin with zero downtime. An evolution of our Cosmopolitan Facial, the Fashionista Facial incorporates LED light therapy to increase the penetration of active ingredients and deliver vitamins and nutrients more efficiently and effectively into the skin. After a single, 90-minute Fashionista Facial treatment, skin is left glowing and with a noticeably fresher, brighter and more youthful appearance.

The Fashionista Facial protocol includes the following elements:

• Steam: Soothing herbal infused hot towels applied to open pores and relax the facial muscles
• Cleansing: An ultrasonic double cleansing using first a skin specific oil cleanser and then a foaming water-based cleanser is performed to cleanse and remove all traces of dirt and oil
• Extractions: Mild vacuum suction is used to lift oils, dead skin and other debris from the pores. Manual extractions are also performed as necessary
• Dermaplaning: Gentle exfoliation using a special instrument to remove dead cells on the skin surface, open up the pores, and prime the skin for renewal
• High Frequency and Microcurrent Therapies: Therapeutic treatments that lift and tone the skin, stimulate long term collagen production, and encourage the penetration of the selected and appropriate serums
• Gentle Enzyme Peeling: A thin layer of gentle fruit acid exfoliation is applied to prime the skin for further elements of the facial
• Facial Massage: A facial massage is performed using a deep-sea water gel moisturizer in order to encourage lymphatic drainage, increase blood flow, and relax the muscles
• LED Light Therapy: 15 minutes of appropriately coloured LED light targeting various skin concerns 
• Soothing: A skin specific Korean jelly mask is applied to the face, neck, and décolleté to address particular skin concerns
• Finish: Application of serums, moisturizer and mineral SPF

The Uptown Facial was designed to be a decadent experience, relaxing for both the face and the mind. Incorporating the traditional aspects of a spa facial with one of the newest in non-invasive therapies, the Uptown Facial is ideal for those who want a more in depth facial experience but do not want mechanical or chemical exfoliations. 

The Uptown Facial protocol includes the following components:
